The Successful Launch of Nuri (KSLV-II)
On June 21st 2022, the Korean Space Launch Vehicle Nuri (KSLV-II) was successfully launched.
The success of the project has made the Republic of Korea the 7th country in the world to launch a utility satellite into space orbit with its own technology.
The Nuriho Project, which first began in March 2010, involved more than 300 domestic private companies. Our company, Flowserve KSM, also had the honor to take part in the entire process from the initial stage to the launch of the project, including the production, testing, and launch of Nuri.
Flowserve KSM was responsible for building the Mechanical Seal that goes into the projectile engine.
As we are continuously developing components for next-generation projectiles with the Korean Aerospace Research Institute, we as Flowserve KSM promise to make further efforts to become a company that contributes to the overall development of the space industry.
